So yea, I'm a redneck - I've got mud tires on the tow rig. Just installed an RE leveling kit on my Superduty. Ordered it from Dirk at DPG offroad - www.dpgoffroad.com and service was awesome as usual. Thanks Dirk! Wish I could say the same for RE, as they sent the wrong bracket to me twice...But it is a quality kit, and install was a breeze. Total install time about 4 hours. Sorry about the lack of install pics. Just wanted the truck back on the road.

Couple of things...

1. Yea, you'll lose some power with the 315's, but not an insane amount. Still have no problems pulling 2 rigs with the 30ft goose.
2. No issues sagging with the goose - but the bumper pull trailer with 1 rig will cause her to squat (duh - because I leveled out the front)
3. A chip and exhaust will be added to make up for slight power loss, but no regrets about tire choice
4. Next set of tires will be a BFG AT - Got these for a deal that I couldn't pass up...

On to the pics...

looking good, a set of air bags on the rear would stop the sagging with the bumper pull, not sure if its worth the money and effort if you don't pull it that often though.

What...no flex shots?? I thought this board was about wheeling...

Macs a sally, there is no way he would ever do that seth, come on now

j/k mac

flex? He doesn't even go 55 on the highway!! Flexing might get it dirty! haha jk

It is hard to keep up with the old Burb' with that Hot throttle body spacer :driver: .

do you have a pic with the gooseneck hooked to it? I have the same size tires on my sd and am curious if the gooseneck will still work with the increased height.

Whats up with the oil in the driveway couldn't be from one of your trucks! I have never even been to your house. Seth must have brought some of my oil stains over to share with you guys.

easy now....that doesnt mean much from someone who has a rig...dripping on my shop floor as we speak.

Haha! I think I had just washed the truck when I took those pics, so it's just water in the driveway! :smokin: My brother does drive a Cruiser though, so we do have a few oil spots around. You need to come on down and see us sometime...

I'll try to dig around for a pic of it hooked up to the goose. If I don't have a good one, I'll be glad to get one for you and post it next time we go load up.

Being that I've just purchased a 2006 model....I'm not up on all the mods as of yet...

What's the purpose of a leveling kit, besides the obvious?

Thanks!

It is mostly just for looks and fitting the 315's he has on there. He got a good deal on the tires so he felt like he had to put them on. :D
