You know,I may of made it then.
And that fish was THIS BIG!:flipoff2:

No room on the buggy to carry a spare?? :shaking:
I wish it was a buggy, you can't plan for everything.

I bet the extraction *WAS* spectacular! (uh, that's a cue for PICS! )

Somebody else has to put up pics of the extraction, I rode down in the jeep while the Muddevils did all the hard work! I do have the humiliating pics of being towed back to the trailer.

I wondered why KC insisted that I had to avoid that hole :) Now I know why! Was suprised to see a pic of him in it though, thought you couldn't go that way. Is the log gone?

I imagine it was a huge PITA getting it backed off the rocks and across the creek!

So much for Dynatrac's claim that FF rears are "heavy & not worth the extra cost"...

Yeah, a full floater would have at least stayed together. My L/R tire was bound up pretty good. Im sure it would have broke a FF too. If it would have broken anywhere other than at the flange it still would have been manageable.

Shit happens when you run a strong V8,a lotta gear and aren't afraid to let it eat.

It has not broken a mog, rockwell, 9 in, yota, or 14 bolt (yet).

I have never had those axles under my rig. I was speaking of my specific rig in that particular situation. my junk weighs #5200 and I was trying to force a tire that would not turn, sumthings gotta give. unfortunately I found out that my d-shaft/u joints were stronger.

I'm just giving you crap, got the other jeep ready for the rock race?

No problem, it will be all finished this weekend except the "custom paint" . I still need to figure that part out. I suspect I will need assistance getting that rig off the trail too. I plan on flogging it mercilessly to be competetive on 33s.

Nah. I thought of that FIRST.

Now if only my damn SECOND engine hadn't quit on me.

Sounds like it's time to quit on the chevy s-10s. Get yourself a real truck.:flipoff2:

I wish I could. We had to use up the money we were GOING to get my wife's Camry fixed with to put a DP on a 2006 Ford Taurus, mostly because it still has some of the Warranty left and we could add a maintenance agreement for after that's done, and it frigging RUNS.

So it's either leave the Jimmy in the yard for a long while or sell it for scrap. Neither of which I WANT to do. But we need that Camry fixed first, so my wife has something she can drive herself in while I'm at work.

Sell it for scrap, I bet you could get a couple hundred for it. What's the camry need?

A transmission. It's sitting at Sullivan's now, waiting for one.
