The guy either own it or is getting a cut from them. I always told them if they wanted a report, I would provide a VIN and that advance research was their responsibility, not mine.

When I was selling my WJ, I must of got at least 10 people all wanting checks from different sites "for their protection". I offered a Carfax to them (which I didn't have) and all of them had some excuse as to why Carfax wasn't good enough.

They use them because they work even with the warts.

Yes, I had to wade thru the initial frenzy of scammers but in the end, FB Marketplace got the job done for full asking price. I did list with your service and while I got no scammers, I also got no inquiries either.

It's true. I hate FB Marketplace, and much prefer craigslist or forums, but I still sell more on FB than anywhere else. But its 10x the BS for 2x the sales. That's why I list most things here on NC4x4 first, and have had nothing but pleasant transactions.
