Rust-Oleum NeverWet cool video

This kind of stuff has been around for a while.
It works, but it's also typically not very permanent. They sell it at Home Depot.

If you read up on it the reviews suggest its not as magical as one might think at first.
That said.... I wanna coat my 3 year old's bedsheets and clothes in it so when she pukes in the middle of the night the cleanup is easier :D

I have some. Tried it on some boots. It leaves a noticeable white residue (directions say it will do that) and does not last too long. Water beaded up pretty good for a week or so then back to normal.

Hell I am going to paint the Jeep!!

some how my roommates dad found the company that makes it. they make industrial cleaners and chemical spill stuff. anyways we ordered a couple of gallons of the stuff and coated every part of a dirt bike in it. we rubbed it in some more once the white film showed up. it only lasted for one race on the bikes maybe longer if we woudnt have rubbed the film off. but i will say that was a muddy race 4 bikes blew up cause there radiators were packed with mud.... our bikes were pretty much clean. bought this stuff its not as strong as what we first got.
