rusted/broken body bolt.....

I'm replacing the tub on my '97 TJ and the "donor tub" has a rusted/broken body mount bolt. Bolt is snapped absolutely flush...and has the added "bonus" of a broken "easy-out" lodged in it....ALSO snapped completely flush.
I'm thinking the best way to attack this is to have someone weld a nut to the end of the broken bolt (slowly building up the weld inside of the nut....effectively creating a "new" bolt head). My problem...the POS stick welder I have won't put out enought amps to do what I need.
So.....anyone in/near the Monroe/Indian Trail area that can "hook a brotha' up"? Or come up with an alternative...short of explosives?
Thanks y'all!

i have the same problem on my 97 tj i just left it broke but good luck i couldn get it out.

Believe me.....I've thought of just leaving it. But......the "new" tub is sitting there, not bolted down to anything. If I'm going to address this, now is the time....while I have decent access to everyting.
