RZR warranty swap

After spending 30 minutes on hold I've given up calling my local powers ports. So with that being said has Anyone bought a rzr from a private seller and had to get the factory warranty swapped over in your name? If so how? What do I need to do?
 
Im pretty sure the factory warranty goes by the in service date regardless of owner. If its an aftermarket warranty the person on it now will have to send in for it to be changed.
