here is my blazer, we built it about 3 years ago and didn't have any real direction, was thinking about trail riding it and going to the local mudbogs, well that has turned into mudbog only for me. I normally run 36" tsl tires instead of these. still have 4.3 engine, slight modifications, 700R4 transmission with manual valve, high stall convertor, and ratchet shifter, the only power i have is made in the transmission. Axles are factory wagoneer dana 44 front amc 20 rear with 355 gears

Here's some pictures after taking the front end apart

at this point i have plans to clean my front axle up and put wedges and radius arms from a ford dana 44 hp and use bronco springs because they are shorter, after all I am running hill and hole and want to keep lift to a minimum

Here are the parts i have got out of other people's scrap piles so far I have to take the radius arm mounts an coil bukcets off and I think i will have all the suspension parts needed I might have to double up on shocks to keep it kinda stiff

I picked up this old race truck body that someone started but never finished, I have plans to put the cab and front end on my frame and cut the bed down to skins and just mount the skins, this will make rear radiator and battery a lot easier to install, not going to do a fuel cell because the factory blazer is all the way at the back, mounted good and works........ I'm thinking with the front axle setout and the rear staying close to the cab it should work out good for mud bogging........

I know its been a while and I haven't been posting a lot of pictures but here's how the blazer turned out to this point

Here's a parts list of what i used for the front end. Astro steering box, new model Jeep pitman arm, it had a lot of drop, Jeep steering rod, bronco springs, ford radius arms, dana 44 out of a Jeep wagoneer, Detroit locker, 4.10 gears, amc 20 rear with 4.10 gears, 36" Super Swamper TSL's, The reason I'm geared up so high is I'm using a 700r4 transmission which is geared low, and had a high stall and manual shift kit installed in it (I don't do transmission rebuilds) I would have welded the front up but I got a deal on the locker and gears for the front end

We do. We just don't like the washing, lol.

Going through a deep mud hole is like screwing a fat girl. You know you want to but you don't want to face the consequences afterwards.
