s10 rear spr. up front?

I'm planning to use k5 chassis w/350/700r/208 under S10 body. 14 bolt rear linked with d44 frt on leafs. Question, can I use S10 rear springs on front with blocks and/or shackles? Pros and Cons please. Very limited budget due to our economy right if you know what I mean! P.S. I'm not looking to build a super buggy. just a capable and reliable buggy.:alien:
 
Try some stock front waggy springs...flex good and correct length...plus dirt cheap/free sometimes....:beer:
 
Is there a certain year spring or certain number of leafs I should be looking for? Any mods that I may need to do to them?:alien:
