Looking good Sam! The air shock pads.. Did you make sure they'll hit that same spot when the axle is twisted up? Most pads I've seen are a larger area where they'll hit.

Obviously I don't have any first-hand experience with them, but it seems that they'll hit a little off to the side when the axle is twisted up...

Rich I thought the same thing, but after looking at KC's buggy's bumpstomp pads and talking to him about it, they somehow hit pretty much below the bumpstop. I'm not sure how that works...

no breakage, steering has sucked from the start, putting on the 4th pump, putting a locker in the front, but the dude welded the carrier together, so gotta get another carrier. other miscellaneous junk.

Yea i heard about your pump horror stories.

I thought the same thing when I saw the pic, but if you look at Greg's they hit in a very small spot.

Good deal.. You'd be the one to know for sure...

I'm not talking about the pos that came on it or the 300$ pos pos pump. :shaking:

pos pos pump  thats quality. i burned your pump up at harlan too, it is screaming...

the origional stocker -done
pos pump #1 --done
your stock pump -- was still turning but it is screaming
enter second pos pump --

i will be keeping your pump as backup.

all bs aside, there has to be a better way, or something wrong in my system. i know it has has cost me a fortune. it seems to always have air in the system and is cavitating ( i learned that word for spending 1500 with pos, seems like a good deal) but nothing is leaking, nothing is loose. i don't know.

alot closer to being ready for paint.

Optima is mounted, brake pedal, fuel cell, radiator, orbital, fan,air bumps, winch, cargo area, most of the floorboards, seats, dash...ect.

Still waiting on parts from summit, and 12volt guys to finish up some things. Their is also this huge hole where a tcase should go...but it should be filled in the next day or so.

Hammerite in a bucket and a brush...

Might as well huff the can if you spray paint chassis like stuff...half of the paint goes in the air and up your nose...
