its that $1000 dollar mark thats the same. i have nothing but time to wait on a good deal. want to run it on propane, i want it to run with a little wireing as possible. who knows how to make that work?
 
Id get an old school 350 if your set on propane.

A number of ppl have switched lsx motors to carb for hotrods. You need a new intake & ignition system at a minimum

i have a sbc 350 but to put aluminum heads and go that route im looking at 2Gs but to buy an 6.0 lsx might have $800 in the motor $300 in the intake and another 3-$400 in the ignition system?? am i missing somthing here? if i am let me know motors are not my thing. i know i want the BIGGEST BANG for the buck over all. lets put it this way. i paided $150 for a pocket knife... why? becuase if i break it, i send it back then they send me a new one.. its really how i think of most every thjing i buy. i know i would find that in a motor. but i am looking wanting to pay for quality. cheap is nice but i want cheap to last.

i may be able to find some pics of it when it was at my shop when adam fixed it the first time. funny the path this rig has gone!
 
This thing is going to be sweet! A coworker just ordered a new lsx block last week for 2500 smackers..... ol to be young and still live at home making good money lol
 
Right now I'm a retired oil field worker I would love to just be making good money again... But that's how life goes you either have time and not money or money and no time
