Sandbox Tech

Concrete sand gets extremely dusty when it dries, most golf cousin use something called "washed pond sand" it tends to "feel" clean, really hard to explain unless you put your hands on it, I know from experience, my kids had a sandbox with 32 cyd (that's 2 -10 wheel dump truck loads for those of you who are volumetrically challenged) Just my $.02.

That's awesome. I thought the 8 x 8 that built was big. Pretty sure I would be playing in a 32 yard sandbox.

Never knew there were so many sand variances.

I asked for nails once for my nail gun without bringing it with me and dude would not quit rattling off different types. He was the "Forest" of nails. I finally just walked away.

Shrimp scampi, shrimp and grits, shrimp pie, shrimp burgers, shrimp....

Funny, the dude that makes toothpicks could probably talk your head off about them...:flipoff2:

Seriously, out of all the types, I think Mother Nature probably makes the best. My dad went down to Nolichucky river and hand shoveled a load into his truck for my sand box when I was a kid.

And with good toys, some kids NEVER outgrow the sand box...

WTF is "Tree Mulch", and why do they only want $10/yd for it?

 I was eyeing the sand blast sand for $8.50/yd to mention for this topic for a sand box but didn't know about it and was afraid to go there.

The last time I got a load of mulch the dude told me that hardwood didn't last as long as pine because of the tight grains fell apart sooner. That's the extent of my mulch knowledge besides it's the best thing for restoring a rusty truck bed due to the heat I guess. Put a load in for about 3 weeks and the bed will be shiny clean metal when you unload it.
