I would be more inclined to say the opposite. They are readily available and a dime a dozen overseas, and expensive to ship models over here that are unavailable in the states. While you can get some Ds over here, I'm fairly certain that double cab is not available in the US.

They are probably going to be used here in country at a place up by there where you seen them by our Spec Ops guys. We have a few places around here that we go to train on the vehicles we will us in country prior yo going over.
