Sawyer Rob…

I've actually stared at this very hard. It is extraordinarily similar to the two I have helped off bear and work around. Both where older and had wooden saw boxes and frames. One was a power plant similar to this and the other we drove off a pto on a tractor.

I remember doing dry locust til the blade got hot and heat warped. A older gentleman came out and hammer balanced it. Wish I knew what he new about older equipment.
Go ahead and get it. Its not far from me, I'll even lend you my off-road forklift to load it up

This forum really takes care of its own. Kinda like when I sold a backhoe with a rusty motor to @shawn because he didn't have enough to work on

Saw on FB where someone had their mill stolen, along with other tools they used with it. Posted a picture and it wasnt on a trailer, but just skids on blocks. Honestly, not sure how someone could steal a mill, without taking it all apart, but FYI.

Well, I got the sawmill together and up and running. For a total of 4 hours. Then sold it.

I found a larger mill that was already set up on a factory Woodlands trailer with 4 hours on it. Ready to go. So I upgraded the other weekend.

And just like that, I upgraded to a mill that can cut 30” diameter and up to 17’ long logs, on a trailer and ready to go. Also set up with ramps and an electric winch for logs that are too big for the tractor. Should work out well.

Already put 8 hours on it milling beams and posts for the tractor a land mill shed as well as some disposable 2x8s for my wife’s raised bed flower gardens.

I cut a lot of poplar to clear some space for the house and driveway, so I’m making use of that wood that otherwise wouldn’t be used for much. Lots of pines waiting…
