Its a WJ

The tires are goodyear wrangler duratrac's 33x12.5x15

I got them to replace my km's

They are super quiet.. so far have not done any serious wheeling with them, I just got them a month ago, but I have done some riding around in rough/muddy trails during deer season, and some snow action, and they seem pretty good. I just got tired of the noise w the KM's. I sold my DD (a 1992 saab) for a $1000 profit and decided to put the money towards some things to make the jeep more street friendly.

nice jeep. glad to see you wheel it, i don't think i would have the testicular fortitude to wheel something so clean/nice/new

thanks guys

its got about 150K and only has a year or so left as a DD... getting a newer truck, f-150 or similar... going to keep it stock (maybe an intake and a leveling kit haha) and keep the WJ for wheeling

Good looking WJ man.....beat on it.

Nice! x2 on wheeling something that nice. I'd be so scared about messing it up that I wouldn't be able to have any fun with it. But I do like the look of a lifted Grand Cherokee. Just don't do this to it...

Is the D44a the one with the aluminum housing? If so, how is it holding up? And do you have any front tow points on that ARB bumper?

Oh the D44a is holding up nicely. From what I understand the aluminum center is more susceptible to rock damage but the overall strength of the axle is pretty good. I haven't had any issues with it and the few times i have hit the pumpkin on rocks it hasn't done much damage.

I do have tow points, there is a shackle hanging off the drivers side, not visible in the pic

Actually just put one of those 8000lb smittybilt winches on it yesterday too

Did you make it to Windrock for the weekend? I thought I saw a red WJ parked with a group around 3pm, wasn't sure if it was you or not...
