So we started a thread stating we wanted to have a meet and greet somewhere in the Lake Wylie area for all us SC peeps trying to get to know one another and the possibility of starting a club or at least meet some new people to pal around with.

So on that note, take the poll on which weekend would be best with everyone and I will take those tallies and see what we can work out from there. As of now, I think the best place would be Michael Tsoulos place on the lake. We will grill some burgers and have some brews and whatnot. We will work out those details later. I just want to get a head count and find what date is best. thanks Everyone! :beer:
 
By the way, there is a gap in July because I will be going out of town to NY and Chicago. So those dates are no good for me then.
 
I feel so out of place meeting up with all those "modified" vehicles...

BTW - All those dates I am free on so I am not voting. I left out the dates I cant make it, so hell if I cant go then neither can all of you. Ha ha I know Im a bastard!
 
Why not meet up in Clover, since lake wylie isn't a town, at Mike's or some where then in Rock Hill another? Somebody set a date and a place. The people that can't make it will he next time.
 
Ha ha true Lake Wylie is small, but its not hard too find and is not as spread out as clover (even though there is only one or two stop lights there). I am still saying Mike's place, and I know he is fine with that. Lots of parking, lots of land on the lake, and privacy. I will be out of Rock Hill at the end of this month and dont plan on going back there for anything (im done with that town). Let me know if this doesnt work.
 
I voted for sunday july 27th. But may be able to make it on some of the other sundays. Saturdays are usually out for me.

Mike is post #6 on this thread. His place is in Lake Wylie. I will give out the location once we figure out a date. Looks like Sundays is going to be best with everyone. Now we just need to know which sunday. I will keep this poll open for the week until everyone has voted and we will go from there. thanks guys at least yall are making this easy.
 
I figured so, but Charlotte isn't Lake Wylie...

Charlotte is Lake Wylie if you drive accross the bridge, so yea i guess technically we will be in Charlotte cause his house it right across the bridge on the NC side. Its the middle ground for Clover/South Charlotte folks. Does that work out for you?

Hey CR, If we end up at Mike's, it's right across the Buster Boyd bridge. We could meet at Pkng lot behind Mc,d's.

Hey Bowtie, from york, you would take rt49 east, towards Charlotte. Hands mill rd. is rt274, & rt49. turn left. go about 1-1/2 mi. to burger king (on left) turn right (Charlotte hwy.) rt.49 turns right as well. Go about 2 or 3 mi. after you pass through the 3rd light, Mc,D's, is on left, just after the gas station. There is also a turn off, just after Mc,D's. T-Bones steakhouse, & the Buster Boyd bridge, is just past Mc,D's. Mikes place is just across the bridge. Hope this clears things up, Paul.

Thanks for posting that Paul, yea Bowtie, pretty much go on 49 (S. Tryon) towards Charlotte till you see the lake. Cant miss it.

Hope the air is cleared on the confusion i created. :beer:
 
nah...no confusion of the meeting place (location)...just who Mike is/was and how Lake Wylie and Charlotte got turned into one:lol:
 
Hey Also, just a thought, yall post some pics of your rides, dont get too crazy with it, just want to see who drives what so i can put a screen name to a face when i meet em.
 
To get an Avitar, go to your control Panel (inbox) and on the left hand side you will see "Paid Subscriptions" click that link and go there to pay the $6 bucks or whatever for the year. Its done through PayPal.

So the date is set. Can you plan it for Sunday the 29th? Thats two weeks in advance. There will be beer or if someone wants to bring some Newcastle they will be my bud. We will work it out. Food will prolly be some brats with sourcrout an burgers n such. So lets do this and maybe somemore folks with join in. :popcorn:
