I have the bracket tacked onto the axle housing. Next I need to mock up the actual pivot point which will be a shackle with a heim

Should the heim on the upper tube be in line with the driveshaft at the t case or the spring hanger?

Heim should be at the top of the shackle or the bottom?

Any advise is much appreciated in advance!

The lower you can mount the heim, the better your suspension will act, but there is a tradeoff vs clearance.

So it would be best to have the shackle heim down to get it lower

Any input on the mounting location of the pivot (leaf spring or tranny).

longer you can make it, typically the better it will perform also.

basically you think about it like building a big radius/truck arm off your axle, as it will perform about the same.

I've got one of the WFO Concepts arms on my K30 and I've got another one waiting to go on my Silverado. They work amazingly! I noticed a huge difference as soon as I drove my truck after installation. My front mount point is above the shackle, so it pulls against it. My lower tube is a hair lower than my driveshaft for a bit of protection. The upper tube is adjustable so I can preload the pinion against the suspension if I need to.

My lower tube is 5 foot long on both trucks. They're mounted as close to the center as possible.

I'm about 3/4" off of center on the axle (offset FJ 60 axle). My front mount will be a chromo 3/4" heim mounted above the shackle. It will probably be mounted to the crossmember with additional protection from the belly skid. I'm using Barnes 3 link mount and making the rest out of 1 3/4" tube.

Make the "upper" as close to parallel to the ground as you can. Make the anti wrap bar length a little longer than the length of the front half of the leaf spring. Too short or too long and you'll have excessive binding.

But just like any link suspension, you gotta put it where it fits!

It turned out really well. Upper is very close to parallel to ground. Forward mount is about 1-1.5" forward of spring hanger.

It flexed great and performed as good as I had hoped under a considerable beating (or ten) on my shakedown run.
