School me on gas grills

If you want a great gas grill, hands down, the Wilmington Grill is the best out there. Its pricey but well worth it. its 100% stainless steel. Its all laser cut, hand formed, and welded together by hand.

Hands down, the Wilmington Grill is the best gas grill out there (well, I haven't seen any better). I've looked at them and the Holland grills and the Holland Grills are nowhere near the quality of the Wilmington Grill.

Like I said, 100% stainless steel. It has like 2, 40,000btu burners and has a fabricated stainless grate.

Made right here in NC: http://www.wilmingtongrill.com/

Oh, and if you need natural gas instead, they have that option. There are also options to add a steamer, smoker, and even charcoal grill options. :)

Why not invest in a grill cover and secure the Spirit outside? Almost all my grills have lived un-sheltered from rain or under a grill cover and they've lasted long enough IMO.

I have to move it from my storage room off my living room, through the dining room and down a wheel chair ramp to my paver stone pathway out back. I don't think anything besides the Q line is designed to be moved around like this.

Whooooooaaa.

You have to take this thing through a triathlon to use it. I have to pull mine out of the garage and through a short section of grass and rocks and I'm often saying FAWK this ill cover it for the night and leave it the hell outside.

If I had to go through the dining room, down a ramp, out some pavers, through the woods, over the fence just to get to grandm.... My grilling spot, I'd go out to eat.

Yeah, its annoying. I really can't keep it outside because I don't have a deck, just a walkway. The rest is grass. However, its a small house, moving it that far really isn't more than 75 feet. I just rent the house, otherwise I would build a deck. I've considered extending the paver stone pathway out further along the back of the house and making it into a patio, something I am still looking at.

I have to second this. The price tag is steep, but the grill is WELL worth it. My volunteer fire dept used to buy a new grill every 2 years or so because the constant use would make Lowes bought grills just fall apart. Going on year 5 of our Wilmington grill, and despite needing a good cleaning, it has had zero issues.

The Q also comes in a tabletop version i'm pretty sure, I have a 5 yr old one I was given and need to refurb. It would be easier to move and store than one on a cart.

I had a thought....

The caster wheels are just standard plate casters. I could just replace them with larger wheels to make it easier to move right?

I'm sure that I am making this far more complicated than it needs to be, but I feel that if I go with that Q series I'm just wasting money because I'll only be using it for a few years, max...
