I've been seeing 16.5 tire for pretty cheap and since I'm on a budget it got me thinking. I've been searching for info . I have HD Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear on a yj . Can I bolt up a set of h1 wheels directly to my jeep ?

If your 8lug yes if not no. They have the pattern 8-6.5 chevy dodge early ford. And the have a hugh 7" offset so they will tuck way way in unless u run wide spacers.

If your axles are 8 on 6.5 lug pattern they will bolt up. Now Depending on what size tire you use.. the rims have 7" backspacing so they are tucked under the vehicle. If you have a wide tire then you may have to recenter the rims because the tires will be rubbing the frame or suspension/steering. Recentering them will give you around 4" backspacing thus putting the tires further out away from everything. Google h1 wheel press-in centers.

Yes I have 8 lug axles . From what I'm seeing online if I run 2 inch spacers they will clear my high steer . Re centered rims any good on the road

As long as they are re-centered correctly they'll be fine.

If you can find a pressed center, I'd get them as opposed to a flat center. Just personal preference to me, but they look more like a rim should to me. I had a set of recentered H1s and they ran very true. You can jig them with spacers and bolts through the old rim center, or some centers sit on the lip inside the back half of the rim.

I'd test fit one on the front before you get the spacers. If it fits, they would probably look pretty good and it wouldn't be quite so wide.

I just did a set of these a few months ago. Here's the centers I used. They worked great and were a really great product. I just plasmaed the old center using the ring as a guide. Then I cleaned the lip on the back of the wheel and tapped the new centers in with a punch. I tacked the centers in and threw it on a tire balance machine just for fun. They were all within 2oz.

I also put rim stiffeners on them because I have bent too many wheel lips, plus mine were 8 bolts which seem to be a little thinner. These are the ones I got. Mud is a great guy to deal with.

I have to say I'm really suprised at how much they weigh. They are EXTREMELY heavy. They are about the same weight as a steel wheel and 35" tire together!! Another thing is I thought they were going to be cheap. I wound up with close to 600 bucks in mine. For that I'd just buy some Allied's and be done with it.

Thanks for info guys , think im going to steer away from the h1 wheels , but im going to maybe still get the tires and some 16.5 aluminum mod wheels . thanks again

I wouldn't run 16.5" rims on a wheeling rig you plan to air the tires down on. They don't have a safety bead. Poof!

x2. If you wanted a lite weight option, you could get the alum wheels and InnerAir Locks, but you will probly have more in it then a set of h1s.

They do but they are $$$$$
Look up sax hummer parts. They have them, I use them to order parts for my h1's

I retract that they are two piece 17" wheels..
