school me on tire deflators

I was at a Veterans benefit ride at outdoors in the smokies a few years ago and a overlander JKU had some crazy air setup. He hooked up all 4 at the same time to air down and turned on some kind of pump and captured the air in a tank to reuse when he aired back up from what he said anyway. Didn’t know air was worth keeping to air back up with. He was a special kinda dumbass on the trails so I figured he was a engineer of sorts. :lol:

It takes an overlander to justify carry around another tank to capture air....like we are going to run out of available air on the trails :D

I always quite enjoyed the simplicity of auto deflators. The ones from Jantz worked well, and Ive tried a few others.
