I spent the day at one of my out of town honey holes and happened upon a very used Warn 8274 w the mount still attached.Its missing some parts and needs a cable but for .15 a pound I couldnt pass it up.Still turns free so I dont think theres a whole lot wrong with it(besides the obvious).It might be a good time to try out the new albright winch solenoids.

I have had five of those, best winch ever in my opinion.
 
That looks alot like the 80's ford mounting plate that came with mine. You gotta appreciate how they used that longer bolt instead of springing the big bucks for a shorter one!

Thats some kinda lock as near as I can tell.It appears to have a place to put a key in it.
