Webb Metals in Dallas usually pays pretty good, but you're likely to get a flat tire and feel uncomfortable around the sketchy people. Pace recycling on hwy 27 in Stanley is nice, clean, and well run, but pays a hair less. Last I checked, it was about 60cent/lb for AL and 2.50/lb for Cu.
Foothills recycling in the belwood/casar/vale area is a good bet as well. I know the brothers that own and run it, nice folks, and cool as hell. I'd much rather have a local small business make a profit off of me than anyone else. Only thing is the good ol boys working there will ask to buy or trade for your truck if they like it, lol, never fails! Shredder steel is up to $12/100lbs, so I imagine al and cu are up too. Good time to sell.
