^^^ I'd say closer to $400+^^^

They are not picky right now. Take wood and all...

A truck frame by itself brings around $70-$80. Was $12/100 in Durham a couple of weeks ago for non prepared. Prepared brought $15.

Kyle, 13cents a pound. We got 400 for an accord tuesday

Looks like the 1 I used for many years. I had pulled the frame out, as seems yours. So you have a fairly heavy floor with thick double wall tin. Just a guess-5-6 thousand lb. I watched a rollback haul mine off with NO problem. BUT, what you run into,is most will cut price in half, because they have to chop it down to a shredder size. Call a couple places, before you go, or see what some scraper will offer. Either way, it's like free money, less transportation cost!

There isnt anywhere around Charlotte that is going to take it with the wood on it without deducting a good amount for it. For what metal is there you may get $200.

Whoever said they fill stuff with water. You get caught doing that and you will be banned from the yard or they will give you about half price for it.

^^^^So? There's 4 scrap yards in Rock Hill. My friends own one across town. I shit on the one next door to my shop. Take a effin sledge and knock the wood off if its that big of a deal. Is it just that wall or does it have a wood floor? I see bigger pieces of shit hauled in every day.
Wow... That was eloquent and inspirational. Remind me to never buy anything from you in the classifieds.

The truck I took into Foss's 2 weeks ago in Durham had a wood bed... Then the load of #1 nails I collected out of the woods was about half dirt. Still can't figure out why someone would just stack pattetts full of nails out in the woods? Was 120 pounds, dirt and all.
Might be worth the trip to Foss's? But then I deal with them almost bi-weekly...

Gordons in Statesville does a lot of buses (at least I've seen a ton of them in the yard there). Might be a PITA to get it there - but might be worth a call.

Last time I checkered Durham wasn't near Charlotte.

Dirt is one thing, some places will not fuss some will. I know SMC in Charlotte will throw a fit. They also will knock off a bunch for wood.

WOrd of warning from someone who does a lot of scrap businesses. GL Gordon does not pay you for the full weight of what you bring in. They pay for a "average" load. IN other words they pay what they think the load should weigh, not what it actually does. Buddy of mine would up having to take them to court to get his money.

Foils in Harrisburg has lower prices than everyone else.

Webbs in Dallas is a complete and total crook. His scales are wrong and he knows it. His barrels for cans are weighted wrong so you loose 2 pounds of cans for every barrel. 2 pounds of aluminum cans is ahell of a lot.

My coworker skipped two days of work to take strip down his bus/camper to scrap it. He then used the money to buy a good used camper. I'll ask him tomorrow at work what he got for it. His looked like yours.

Lets let this one die. Dude wanted like $500, swears up and down it will bring $900, I have some lower hanging fruit in my Email. Thanks guys. Mods delete please.
