I feel like I'm missing something dumb here. Is there any special trick to getting SD60 shafts to seat?

I'm trying to reinstall oem shafts into an Eaton E-locker. The splines will engage on both sides but both side are equally unseated when they hit what feels like a hard stop, probably about 1" out from where they should be.

Any suggestions? Can't see shiat inside of the case, because E-locker.

You have the tool that looks like this?

They take quite a bit to get them fully seated.

I feel like, if you have to drive them into the locker, it's going to be a pain when they break.

It's the axle shaft seal and hub deals that make it a pain in the dick. The sd have those two piece inner seals that are ~1.5" wide and a have 3 o-ring style ridges in them.
