I was thinking about seafoaming my 7.3l international diesel. the can says that it can be used in a diesel but i wanted to hear from you guys. i usually pour it down the throttle body and let it sit for a while then crank it and drive it a little bit.

ever seen a run away diesel engine ?

Or a hydrolocked engine ?

DON'T DO IT !!!

you will gain nothing by pouring stuff down the intake of a diesel engine but a large repair bill.

i dont believe i will then.....thanx

try stanadyne you should be able to get it at the ford dealer. add to your fuel do not just pour down the intake

I used this stuff in my mercedes diesel, i disconnected the inlet and return line and poured the seafoam in a bottle big enough to stick both the lines into, it worked well, I was able to feel a difference and it idled smoother too.

Using Seafoam this way will work and is effective, he was talking about pouring into the intake, NOT something you do to a diesel engine unless you wanna make a pile of scrap parts quick.
