Sorry I missed this when it came up the other day.
But yeah, the program that handles all the search functionality only updates its indexes about every 10 minutes. So you started one thread at 6:52AM, and it wasn't in the indices yet when this thread was started at 6:56AM.
By the time Tony replied, it had already been indexed, so it appeared normally in searches.
This behavior only affects searches for words, not searching for newest posts. And like I said, the interval is 10 minutes, so not terribly long.
There's a related problem that Tony alluded to that usually occurs early Sunday morning -- the indexer sometimes crashes while it's resetting for the new week, meaning that any threads created after that don't get added to the index. That doesn't appear to be the case here, but it does happen about every six months.
