I can not search for all posts from a specific date. it requires a search word.

If I go to nc 4x4 and do have a chance to look at all of the new posts then come back in a hour or so then It times out out an I see only the most recent posts and not the ones from earlier. it would be nice to be able to search by date range with out a key word.

Click on Search, then go to the Advanced Search. Under Search Options on the bottom left, there's one to Find Posts from Any Date. It'll search for everything since yesterday, for example.

It's not quite the same thing as the New Posts button, but it's about the best you're going to get. The board isn't capable of keeping track of each thread you've looked at since the beginning.

i see what both of you are saying... but what he is saying is even to use what you said saf-t, you must supply a search word... you cannot simply define your search timeline to include all posts in the last 24 hours without searching for something specific... does that make sense?
