Spent the evening with a good friend who just retired from the Army. He was deployed in Somalia durring Bill Clinton's "Feed the starving while they shoot at you" campain down there. For you younger guys, you may have seen the movie "Black Hawk Down". He regretfully spoke about having to shoot a woman who put her child in front of her while she fired at him with a AK47. Normally he would just get behind cover, but he was caught in the open and had to do it. The evil side of this world can put you some hellacious spots some times. I know the job aint easy... Before, durring or after you get home. Just want to say thanks to all the good guys out there!

It doesn't matter whether you support WHY they are there, you support the TROOPS.
 
I am not trying to take away from any of this have a ton of respect and friends that are still in the miliatary, but in the world is the guy in the background doing with his rifle striaght up, if the guy in the foreground is taking a defensive position? o_O

Guy in the front might be scanning through his scope for enemies etc.

I could be wrong, but something tells me they got home. These arent newbies, they are operators. You can tell by the equipment they are sporting. The guy on the scope has a full mag, he is ready to deal cards.
