I'll go on record as saying these are the stupidest invention I have ever seen.

I have one. God gave me two of them when I was born.

I just can't understand the fad here.

At least with that you get a good picture. I can see the advantage of that drone thing to get good video of stuff I guess.

The selfie stick just creates awkward photos and makes you look like a toolbag.

We were at Disney in February, selfie sticks were everywhere. I can understand why they were banned. It seemed like most of them were being used by foreigners.

What ever happened to human interaction and simply politely asking someone to take your picture?

That's way too much for kids these days, they rather sit in the same room and text each other...

Granted half of the scumbags now days would probably run off with your phone or camera.

I saw a guy taking pictures with his family. He approached me and I assumed he wanted me to take a picture of all of them. Instead he asked if they could take a picture with me in it. I consented, and he pulled out a selfie stick and got a picture of all of us. It was an odd day...
