Anybody used Bring a Trailer or anything similar for selling a niche increasing value car?
It looks easy for sellers and the price seams very reasonable if I udnerstand correctly (its only $100 or $350 if you want pro pics)

My uncle has an original owner 1995 Landcruiser, fully loaded, in NE TN that needs a new home. Waiting on pics but AFAIK it's in great shape. no rust, just been sitting and needs cleaning, TLC, brakes flushed etc. Last driven 2.5 years ago... Dad jumped it and it fired right up.
I know this is a rising value collectible vehicle. I'd love to have it myself but it would be the end of my marraige. Rather than dealing with yahoos and lowballers, I'm wondering if something like BaT is just a much better route.
Any other services to consider? Yes it could be posted here once I get more info :flipoff2: .

Side note - thank God Dad called me for an opinion. He was looking at an Edmunds cash offer of something like $8500 and NADA is equally low. Makes me wonder how many people get ripped off by not knowing what they got :D

Never used it, but after getting stiffed on ebay, I would try BaT before ever going back to eBay. (Seller backed out 1 min. after close of auction, I could never get the stink of apparent rejection off the vehicle on subsequent auctions).

My understanding is BaT charges a 10% fee to the buyers credit card as soon as the auction ends. The direct chat involvement can be a blessing or a curse depending on the crowd and type of vehicle you are selling.

Where at in North East Tn? A gentleman I know has 3 100 series cruisers and is looking for another. He might be interested in an 80 series.
Morristown.
