Sending unit Beside Kickdown Cable on th350?

Dumb question but There's an electronic sending unit single prong thing on my th350 in my Jeep right beside where the kickdown cable goes into it . . . what is that? Probably something dumb but if its a temp probe thing, or a good spot to put a temp sending unit then I'll use it rather than just blocking it off, thanks.

Its a pressure switch, had something to do with spark control for emissions on some cars during the 70s. It's not needed.

Yea, if it was a 4 pin? connector, it would be for the later model th350 with the lockup converter.

Single prong, non lockup, thanks for the input, btw aren't you the one that I traded the dually wheels with? If so that spare has been sitting behind my shop forever, ha

Yea haha, I've just been so busy lately with graduation/new job/wedding I haven't thought about it.
