Sentimental Value is Pretty Expensive These Days

I learned to drive on a straight drive. Ive driven more straight drives than autos in my life.

That said I dont have the required 3rd foot necessary for crawling in sticky spots with a straight drive.

If I bought a TJ it would be a straight drive or a GM drivetrain would be in the future.

My truck is manual and my wheeling rig was automatic, I am actually looking for an automatic wheeling rig

Why? Have you seen the prices on the new wranglers? Off the show room floor it's not uncommon to see a $40k wrangler.
Yep and the top will be wore out and needing replaced before the payment book is empty, after 2/3 years itll just be another "ol jeep".
Yeah I won't touch anything without a manual transmission in a jeep. Honestly I don't think I would know how to crawl without one. Do you just feather the brake constantly in the auto?
I just put mine in double low.

where did that kid get $50K?

Hes taking a real hit here selling it for $20K...........

More like where did he spend 50K???? He went thru all the trouble to plate and beef up the frame to withstand a "stronger beating"but stayed with a Dana 30/35??? Looks like another classic example of spending money on the wrong things.:shaking:

I was wondering that - I read all of the crap he did and he didnt replace any of the drivetrain and just put a lift and tires on it. How on earth do you get to $50,000?

Did he spend it all on paint or something? Those fenders must be made out of depleted uranium or something.
