We were talking just last night about how we don't eat at Burger King anymore. I think it's mainly because the food has moved on. BK used to make a good burger. Now several other places make a better burger.

Either way... the linked post is straight-up FUD. BK is going to start serving beers at select locations, which if you paid attention in Sunday school, is sign #4 that end times are imminent. It's going to be underage drinking, ordering beers at the drive-thru, teen pregnancy and food poisoning all wrapped up in one.

I liked this quote from teh comments:

Hey there - I live in Belgium, where McDonald's serves beer - either accompanying a sit-down-meal or to take away.. I think that at the most, they'll card you for the beer : the legal drinking age here is 16. In fact, come to think of it, it's extremely rare to find a place that serves no alcohol if food is available.

Fantastic.

Of course... isn't their country currently without an official government?

I quit eating fast food a few years ago (I will still eat bread only items like fries or plain biscuits, but no fast food meat)...... but prefer to drink beer at the house

I assume they only intend to sell alcohol inside?

That's why I I don't take my daughter to those places. We prefer the beer at chuck-e-cheese.

i know new jersey had drive through liquor stores(20 years ago) if i'm not mistaken there are still one or two left up there
I know of one in Ga. Town my dad lives in. dont know if there are any closer. And wasnt really bitching. Just saying americans as a whole are "obese" already and now beer at burger joints...... Wonder if they will put it in the.same tap machine wirh the SODA??

I had my first beer at a pub in Ireland when I was a freshman in High School. We were on a band trip to Dublin and on the last night, we were able to go out on the town. Pub Guinness served by a VERY hot beer maiden (then again - I was a pimply faced teenager - she could have looked like Rosanne Barr - we were just geeked to get served a beer!). The thinking there is if you can see over the bar, you can drink.

Yeah, exactly. We are one of the last countries to still have the stick up the ass when it comes to alcohol. IMO, this isnt really a big deal (the Burger King thing)

I just wish you woulda spelled 'Seriously' right on this thread... :shaking:
