Serpentine too loose or too tight?

Just changed the water pump and serpentine on my 1996 ZJ (4.0, 195K miles). Now when the A/C kicks on at idle, it squeaks terribly. It does not squeak if the A/C compressor is not engaged or if I am running down the road.
Is the belt too tight or too loose? It doesn't have a spring loaded tensioner, you have to set the tension with a bolt.
 
to loose, it sounds like it's slipping.
 
My XJ was doing same thing. to loose i would suggest.

Rule of thumb i go by. twist belt by hand. it shouldnt turn more than 90 Degress.

Just turn it and take a look.
 
Yeah my zj is squealing too.

Bought the wrong Gatorback belt and had to put the original belt back on there until I can get the right part #.
