setting up double ended ram

I'm setting up my double ended ram now. I know its supposed to be inline when at full steer.
What will it hurt if its a lil further back?

It won't hurt anything if it's closer to the axle.

Thanks. It will help me get more clearance and easier to set up. Guess I'll be burning it in Tuesday.
