SFWDA At Rockvember 2010

SFWDA Land Use Coordinator Flint Holbrook (yellowjeepcj), member Robert Taylor (up-n-over) and myself, all Carolina Trail Blazers members, represented SFWDA at the 2010 Rockvember event to benefit "Operation Homefront" at Uwharrie. We manned a booth where we displayed Robert's Cummins powered Exo 4Runner on Unimog axles and handed out SFWDA brochures and membership information. Robert's rig was a real hit drawing a crowd and we were able to make lots of contacts. Not sure if or how many memberships will result from this PR effort but at least we got SFWDAs face in front of the 4wheeling public Thanks, Robert, for making your rig avaliable for a good cause!

Thanks John and Rob for handling the booth and selling southern most of day while I had a group on the trails. I have confidence the effort will produce results.

I had a great time hanging out with JC. We had a lot of folks to come by the stand and we handed out a bunch of brochures. I hope that everyone will read the info and join SFWDA to help keep our trails open.
