92 xj bastard pack using 96 dodge 3/4 van main leaf. For those who don't know the side of the leaf from the axle back is two inches longer than stock xj main leaf. I made the pack and used a 1/2 ton chevy shackle which has a slight boomerang bend in them plus a tiny lift. Besides my shackle hitting the back of the shackle box, which I will trim, does the shackle angle look too deep? Possible for it to invert?

If the angle is too deep I am just going to box in the shackle box and do something like this...

Looks too deep to me. The whole point of the shackle is to let the leaf spring get "longer" as it flexes (flattens) out. If your shackle angle is already close to maxed and doesn't have enough room to travel back when the spring flattens out, your springs aren't going to be happy.

Looks OK to me as long as your spring is flat or close to flat and therefore will not get much longer if any.
