The beast is going to get a rear shackle flip which will enable me to get rid of the 2" block and 2"-AAL. I think pinion angle should be ok, but I have shims if needed. I plan to lower the bracket so I can run the stock flat spring configuration. I see ORD has a chevy bracket and TTS has a FSJ bracket. Anyone done this flip? I want to check some measurements and see if its worth the manhours to fab a bracket or just buy whats out there.

Hey Eric!

I have the ORD flip installed on my 1976 K5 (not running right now). I also have another ORD kit (a friend's) uninstalled in my barn, if you want to check it out.

Later!

Richard,
Cool. I might need to check those out.

I think the pinion angle will change more than you think. Double check and have at least some 5 dgree shims ready.

Good point. I have some of Rusty's 6-deg steel shims if needed.
