shaking

i got a 96 jeep cheeroke sport 2 door. its 4x4 and inline 6. when i get up to bout 45 mph the whole jeep starts to shake like crazy. and when i turn there is a clunk in the front end. i got the tires balenced and no mud in rims . and tires are on all the way and no broke beads. someone help me please. lol o and its a 5 speed. the cross member was broke in half i welded it up and its good now.

Lift? Steering and suspension all tight? Jack it up and put it on jack stands. Grab the top and bottom of each tire and shake. Then grab the sides and do the same.

castle nut on the tie rod. like rattlecan said, check everything related to your steering.

check tierod ends, trackbar & trackbar mounts, wheelbearings and steering gearbox backlash... that ought to get you started

ok i checked all my steering and all its good did not have time to look at my track bar hope thats it. thanks to all who helping let me know anything please if yall know anymore. please.its all stock i just got 265/75/r15.

check the frame side joint on the track bar.
you will need someone to shake the steering wheel while you watch for play and if you can here a clunk the problem should not be hard to find
