What are the rules of R O W when a crowd of bicyclers are in a whole lane pack, 100s of feet long, on a straight 2 lane county rd. and I turn left well infront and heading towards them? This happened near RTP years ago and a car pulled into my lane to pass the bike parade from behind. I continued towards the head-on collision w the guy in my lane and accelerated as normal, the other driver kept comming too and the cyclers were unaware. As we met I hit the shoulder and passed the car about 35mph w my horn blaring for 5+ seconds as he finally slammed on the brakes and the road hogs ducked and jived. The A-hole in the car in my lane should have stopped or slowed and got back in his lane IMO.
