The movie/book Jaws was inspired by a series of shark attacks in 1916 in a New Jersey river believed to have been by a bull shark.

Thats creepy! I'll definetly feel less comfortable paddling the inlet this wknd. If I'm seeing it correctly, she caught a fish and the shark came and got it just as she was bringing it up. That would suck if it happened to someone in a kayak! That was a big boy too!
I think you would need a bigger boat.

We were just there two weeks ago,there was a 6 foot shark swimming around the pier all week,someone hooked it but didnt succeed in getting it in.Thats scary to see one that big in the inlet though ,have to think twice about walking around in the shallows,that was crazy.
