I am working on a small project and would like some professional help. I can't bend sheet metal and this is going to require it.

What I am looking for is basically a Z with 90 degree bends. 2"-3.5"-1" So the 3.5" piece is in the middle and the two others are the other measures.

I'll need 2-20" long and 2- 40" long.

I would like to be made out of 11gauge or 1/8" plate.

Any ideas on how much this is going to cost me?

For a fab shop, that is really easy. Catch them on a day where they are slow, and they shouldn't cost you more than $100. Those breaks usually cost about $100/hr to operate. A good sheetmetal fabricator should be able to do the layout and bending in less than 30 minutes. They shouldn't need to set any backstops for just 4 pieces and it will be pretty quick. If they have to breakdown setup from another job, expect the $ to be high.

Wish you were closer, I could get this for you. It would 65 bucks and some change.

Look up your local commercial/industrial HVAC places, and find one with their own duct work/steel shop. What you are looking for will not cost you much to have them do. They will have a sheet metal break and the ability to do what you are looking for.

Thanks guys, I was just looking to see what the cost would be so that when I went to the sheet metal place around here my jaw wouldn't be too surprised about what the guy told me.
