Added a twin sticked 4:1 D300 to the drivetrain and now I need a way to shift it. I'd like to do something somewhat original and still mechanically inclined, but somewhat slim as they'll be mounted close to the driver's seat (was thinking about box end wrenches - 35mm or so). Seen one guy in AZ make his with old pinions, but it cut his hands all to pieces when he shifted. Any suggestions?

Its going in a '97 Nissan Hardbody.

TIA,
Brandon

i used 2 really big box end wrenches. cut off the open end. has been working for 3 years now.

I may be doing this too....still have some time before all the brackets for the cable shifters are finished.

Anybody else?
