Has anyone done this?

I'm looking to possibly purchase a jeep out in Nebraska. Carrier would have to go to guys residence, pick up Jeep and bring it to NC.

What I'm looking for:
first hand experience on something like this. How did the process go? Any tips on doing this?

anyone have a guess-timate on costs of doing this. What to look out for..

Trying to figure if it's worth it or not..

thanks all!!!

Brian

Ill drive it back for you.

I had to have a rig hauled about 270 miles, Augusta, GA to Chattanooga.

Paid roughly $4/mile, one way. Done by a roving hot-shot driver. Felt like it was a great deal, dude was super professional and cared about the job.

Cant remember the company name but be careful. a friend that I was in the military with just PCSd and bought a new to him truck to be delivered to his apartment while he flew there. He ended up waiting 9 days over delivery date and had to take a uber/cab (can't remember) 2 hours to go pick it up at a random dealership instead of the promised location. he's now in a dispute with the charges

thats most likely a PCS problem...

We ship and get cars picked up all the time, we have an account set up that list what we need done and the transporters bid on the job, most go for about $.80 a mile. If you need some help let me know.
