Came home just now to find a septic tank dumping into a manhole across the street from our house. Not supposed to do that here, but they do, because they don't have to pay (as when they dump how they are supposed to at the sewer plant) and finding somewhere in town where they don't get caught makes for a faster trip than driving all the way to the sewer plant.

After he drives off....and of course, he splashed some around as they put the hoses up...the neighbors dog, who is loose today because he broke his chain, proceeds to roll on his back in the remnants of what was left behind, for about the last 15 minutes.

Hope they don't let him in the house today...

let me relate a shitty dog story.
wife and i had gone to the beach taking our 3 house dogs with us. we had gone to a
park thats above little river but before calabash. there are nice boardwalks and trails
that many people use. we get there and theres only one car in the parking lot -- we saw him
jogging down the trail.we are in no hurry as im in a wheelchair and don't have to be anywhere
else. we'd been there about 30 mins and saw the dude way off on another bordwalk so we let
freddie (our oldest) off the leash. little sucker disappeared for less than 60 seconds and when he
came back he was covered in fresh human shit---i mean covered. man what do we do. the old
lady took him down to the shoreline and washed him off best she could barehanded. go back to the
company suburan i had borrowed and while she held him we jet towards calabash--stop at a vets office
and they tell us that they don't do washes but that the hardwars store just down the street
has a do it yourself dogwash. sure enough we get there and they do. so close to an hour
later we got a fresh as a flower dog again.
moral of this story is.
1- don't let em off the leash
2- suckers that shit under the boardwalk oughta be hanged.
3- portable toilet in parking lot needed service
4-i got an awsome old lady.

No way that is legal. I would have called the police.

I was at a junkyard one time that was waaaaay back in the sticks, not too sure it wasn't a chop shop at one time, and they had the shit pipe ran down off the hill and into a Volvo station wagon.

It was common on the lakes back home to have your sewer discharge into the lake only a 100 ft from you fresh water intake

They are designed to do that from the factory. It's about all they are good for.

I'm in environmental and we take stuff like that serious as it hurts everyone. We work hard to do the right thing and it erks me to see "professionals" being grossly negligent in proper disposal of waste and thus impacting public waters and potentially our health.

I did call the city evironmental office that deals with shit. Told her the name of the company, she said "he knows better than that". Said she'd send somebody right out hopefully before he left. Still haven't seen anybody from the city.

Lol thats tragic... My dog just makes giant shit piles... oh and his farts will clear a room every time. High protein food... I swear the better I feed him, the worse his gas.

Definitely illegal. Next time call the fuzz

Not poop-related, but a bad dog story that I want to vent nonetheless. I adopted a 2.5 year old yellow lab mix about 1 year ago. In the ~1 year I've had him he has destroyed his 4'x4' dog house I built him, twisted one of my A/C units off its pad and chewed through the 24VDC wiring, tore up the carpet & padding on the basement stairs, pulled interior door molding/case off the wall, and eaten 7 sets of blinds. He only eats half of the blinds, got 4 about a month ago and then got the other 3 yesterday. 2 of the ones he got yesterday weren't up but for 2 weeks! Used to keep him inside on crappy, hot or cold days, but not anymore. Add to that I have to leave him on a chain because he can clear my 6' tall privacy fence (he's chewed on & pulled down 4 boards of that too!) and he's probably stupid enough to play in traffic. Makes saving up for a new house difficult when you're having to spend $ to fix stuff that was never broken in the first place!

Can you still do a citizens arrest? Be a good time to drive down and block em in. Start taking photos of driver plate etc. When he bucks, draw and dial 911.

Maybe not the best idea, but it's where my mind wanders on this one. Don't fuck w my clean water!

NC does not allow for a citizens arrest. Only Barney Fife did that.

Dwq would put that crowd of shit dumpers out of business, no way is that legal

And I'm thinking 90% chance the gal at the city called his cell phone as soon as I got off the phone, and told him to get out of there, and just dump in another neighborhood next time.
