shock sleeves

where do I find the metal inserts for my shocks? 1/2" x 5/8" x1.5"L metal sleeve. Checked NAPA, Northern Tool, Tractor Supply, local hardware store and the local yokel Carquest. I mihgt hit Advance Auto, Auto Zone, and O'Reily's on the way to Lowe's.

5/8" OD and 1/2" ID? That's really thin. On mine I just bought a stick of tube, I though 3/4" X.120 and cut to length. Maybe i twas thinner.

The Farmers Hardware here has pieces about that size, where their joints etc are...?

thanks Chris, but spraypaintman already hooked me up with some old trashed shocks. I had a bad feeling these would be hard to find brand new replacements.

Did you check the "HELP" section of vatozone? You can buy that size sleeve at lowes or other places, but it has a seam that has to be drilled out in a wristbreaking fashion. Get them fancy bilsteens mounted?
