Shooting Range

I have a friend that lives in mooresville, he's looking for an outdoor range to shoot at. Minimum 100 yards but would prefer further. Anyone know of a place around there? He is shooting rifles.

The Flintlock Shooting Range is 100 yards. I know a site farther east that is working on a 1K yard range. To my knowledge it is a private club.

I'm part of this one...$600/yr (I think that's current price, they have grandfathered membership fees), need two references from current members and take a class. It's extremely nice. About 15 pistol ranges, 8 skeet houses, 6 benches each out to 50, 100, 200 and 300, a few miscellaneous short range benches, archery range, club house and fishing pond. They do competition shoots about once a month too.

The current is $600, $475 one time initiation and $125 for the year.
