Shooting ranges near Charlotte?

I tryed to search for this before I posted a new thread but it was very hard to do on my iPhone.

R there any outdoor gun ranges near Charlotte? I would like to take my wife and some friends for her birthday. I'm thinking out door range would be better because it would have more room for 5-6 people.

Opinions or sugestions on where is a good place to go?
 
Not sure about any public outdoor ranges but there is a cheap indoor somewhere in the rock hill area some of my co-workers & friends shoot at, can't think of the name of it though.
 
There's a free outdoor range in Gaffney. Strange setup, but a nice clean range. Operated by the local Board of Public Works. It's east of town, on 329 (Victory Trail), just south of where it crosses 29 (Cherokee Avenue)
 
There is one right near Chester SC outdoor and I believe its free. I would have to call my friend for directions.
 
There used to be an outdoor range in Gastonia. Don't know any details though.
 
There's sportsman inc. which is right outside of rock hill on hwy 274 and shooters express in mount holly both of which are indoor ranges. Rankin lake in gastonia is outdoor and you can only shoot skeet or trap there, ill be out there this afternoon. There's the mecklenburg wildlife club out near the whitewater center but I think you need to be a member to shoot there. And there's a place in waxhaw area called charlotte gun club I believe, I've never been there but I think you have to be a member there too. Hope this helps
 
Thank u guys for the help!! Is gives me a few places to call and find out more details. I have been to sportman and it is very small. Sounds like eagle guns will be a good option with 18 lanes.
 
Woods Ferry in chester. Maybe 45 from the rock. Nice Pic-a-nik'n on the broad river, too. Good place for r/c crawlin on the dam. just take HWY72 for a long way.
