My old bullet kerosene heater died so amd needing a heater for the shop. I have a wood stove but for short stays and quick warm ups the bullet was great. Some of y'all use propane heaters but is it quick and is it too expensive?
Give me pros and cons of both since all of the knowledge is here!:flipoff2:

My shop is 1800 sq/ft, insulated with 16' ceilings.
I use a 60,000 BTU mobile home electric furnace to maintain temps after knocking off the chill with a kerosene bullet. Works good enough.
My old shop was heated with an 80,000 BTU natural gas heater what would absolutely run your butt out in about 30 minutes.

My friend had a propane torpedo heater. He liked the propane as it was cheaper and easier to get propane over kerosene.

This what I use, the propane torpedo warms it and the electric unit is silent and keeps it nice.
