Shop wall thoughts?

I am slowly putting up the remaining shop walls.i went with luan because it is way lighter than sheetrock and easy to pop back off in case on an issue.
I thought at first a light grey white wash with some natural colored 1x2 seam strips.
The left wall you can see is sheetrock bit not finished I would carry the same colors over there.

Another thought is to stain the luan with a light stain.
Thoughts other than my shop is a mess right now.

I've been thinking of doing a white-washed OSB for mine. Google "whitewashed luan" and see what you can find for pictures to figure out love/hate.
Full disclosure: I really don't like stained wood paneling. Maybe do a matte clear poly?
