Ok so my brother was on Xbox Live last night, playing call of duty modern warfare, and my brothers are skilled gamers, (probably because thats all they do... i think its a waste of time) and this kid got PISSED cause my brother was getting headshots, and he was some super uber leet gamer that a guy like my brother cant kill... whatever right...

so he starts telling my brother ok blah blah blah, tells my brother our IP address, and that were located in Wilson... not a big deal, then this kid goes on saying he'll steal our Xbox Live Gamertag and sell it cause he makes big money doing that... and my brother blocks him and calls Micro$oft and pretty much gets nothing outta them...

With just this kids gamertag entered in google, i found he referenced another username, searched that and found all sorts of crap on him, myspace, photobuckets you name it... well on his photobucket he tagged himself with his full name (IDIOT), so i searched the town he lived in on his myspace, only 10 people with his last name listed... i could phish around for more info, then when i was going thru showing my brother yea i found this kid (even a video of his voice (which varified that it was him) "prank calling" xbox live under the alias "Jack Meoff") i noticed a picture of an access card, which i deal with on a regular basis (since i used to be an Access Control Tech.)

this kid had a picture of an access card, WITH HIS HOME ADDRESS! back to phonenumbers.com and boom, theres his dads number mailing address and phone number...

so I've got ALL the info i need to send the cops to this kids house and teach him a lesson.
i mean i've been doing crap with computers over 20 years ago, started when i was 4 when i ripped apart my Tandy, and actually knew what i was doing... (got it from dad!) it pisses me off when some punk little kid thinks he's the shit... i think it would be hilarious to send a pizza to his house, stuffed with pics, google street view of his house, pics from his photobucket, and a list of how easy it is to track him via his stupid gamer tag...
so what do ya think?

Is this real? I mean if your that ticked off about it make a complaint to xbl. I doubt a cop is gonna give 2 :poop: about a conversation that happened on video game chat. Please don't waste my tax dollars on this. The kids not gonna do anything. If he did "sell" your tag you call xbl and its over. Other than that you have a bigger chance of your identity being stolen out of your mailbox.
 
Sign him up with every solicitation known with his name and address! He'll get all kinds of crap in the mail!

If he were much closer id go see him in person... at his work... Panera Bread... and just kinda laugh at him and make him paranoid... and just say see ya on xbox later right? but i cant do that... so i need something fun

i just have to do things in a way it doesn't get traced back to me, i know all about re-routing my ip internationally so it would be a pain in the ass to track... but is it really worth it lol... i might just call the dude

if you say your going to do something, you best do it... nothing pisses me off more than someone talking crap... i don't do that, and my temper is so short i just don't tolerate it well and will go off man...

Sounds like you need to grow up. Who the hell are you to "put him in his place"? You don't even know if the information you have is accurate. I think you might be alil bit of whats wrong with kids these days and yes I'm only a year older than you and you make my head hurt.
 
regardless of what had happened, if i had known this guy personally, if he had made a threat and claims like this, if it was something more serious than xbox live, scenario time!

he made a claim he was going to steal my jeep, and that he has stolen other jeeps, does it all the time for good money...

is that not something to go to the police about, whether or not the information I've gathered is accurate or not, if he was full of crap or not, i think it should be documented, regardless of it being true, threats often turn to actions these days...

and what if this kid already had a record of this sort of thing... and it would be time for the police to act?

that's what im getting at. If you let these things keep going, it will escalate and become a common practice if nobody does anything about it.
